MAKEUP REVOLUTION | REDEMPTION PALETTE 3 - REVIEW

Makeup Revolution - the latest brand to rock the beauty world and cause quite a bit of a stir amongst the beauty blogging community!  The brand launched in March this year (2014) and has recently taken up residence in Superdrug.  The products on offer start from as little as £1, making this brand a winner in the price stakes.  I am a sucker for a bargain, but what I love even more is a bargain that delivers!

Today I want to talk about one of the latest palettes to launch from the brand.  Taken from the redemption range the Iconic 3 palette is highly recognised as a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette but at a fraction of the price at only £4.

The palette homes a gorgeous range of nudes, with pink and brown hues.  The eyeshadows are powdery in consistency, not quite as buttery as the Naked shadows, however there is very little fall out with these.  There are 12 shadows in total in each palette making your choice of colour combos endless.

The palette comes with a double ended sponge applicator however I would never use it, I prefer to apply shadows with a flat brush and a blending brush.  I have used this palette consistently for the last few days and I am really loving the pink hues at the moment.  I'm stilling holding on to summer, but I know the brown shades in the palette will become more relevant as Autumn draws in.

As far as budget shadow palette's go this is definitely one of my favourites.  The pigmentation is great and the lasting power of these shadows are fab.  I have also been reviewing an eye primer from Makeup Revolution which can be used along side these shadows to make them last a little bit longer.  I will pop up my review of that shortly.

All in all I am pretty impressed with this palette and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great nude palette without the hefty price tag.  This will likely be a staple palette in my collection over the next few months.
