Having a birthday in January isn't the best I have to say.  Everyone is just getting over Christmas and we all know the bank balance is looking a little less than healthy at this time of year.  My hubby always takes me for a nice meal at a restaurant of my choice, but this year I've decided to spend it at home, with some friends, a few drinks, a few nibbles and a board game.  I know it all sounds terribly exciting, but it's what I want, and everyone knows that staying in is the new going out!

Even though the bank balance is a little bit tight I thought I'd pull together a little Birthday wish list, there's nothing on the list that will break the bank completely (hint hint hubby) and one of the items is even on sale!

2. Makeup Revolution Euphoria Eyeshadow & Contouring palette
4. Real Techniques Bold Metalics brushes - (only available in store)

I really do need a new coat and boots the most, as the coat is currently on sale I might treat myself and pick this up before my birthday.  As I mentioned above I have invited friends round to play a board game, it's a bit of a controversial one, Cards against Humanity.  I know it won't be to everyones taste but it's a bit of fun, I haven't actually played it myself so I am intrigued to see if it's as bad as everyone says!  Have you played this game?

Much Love, Kirsty x

  1. I love the look of those RT brushes - anything rose gold and I'm there!
Flowerbomb is such a lovely scent, I always get compliments when I wear it.

I played Cards against Humanity at Christmas and New Year with 2 different groups and the games were really different so it depends who you're playing it with. Some people give really crude answers and some just go for random silly ones -it's really fun and such a good game!

Thank you for visiting my wee blog and taking the time to leave me some comments! I love reading them and I will always try and reply and come visit you too, so be sure to leave your links ♥x♥
